Princess Transatlantic Cruise
Cindi Brewer did a great job with helping me plan another great trip. We sailed on Princess from Barcelona to Ft. Lauderdale with stops in Valencia, Malaga, Cadiz, Lisbon & Madeira in October 2015.
We had a good time on the transatlantic. Loved doing all the “stuff” first then relaxing all the way back to Eastern time zone. I’ve been to Spain & Portugal before and still love it! Excursions were varied and had more walking than some expected. Can’t do anything about “stupid” tourists who can’t figure out why there’s no elevator to the top of the Alcazaba fortress. Really?!? I thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of options of things to do ashore.
Highlights were the fortress in Malaga, tapas in Valencia, riding through the hills of Lisbon, and the sled ride in Madeira.
Because of the timing of the cruise, there were very few children and no teenagers. Quite the difference from a Spring Break or Holiday cruise! Met some very nice people.
Thanks for the Specialty Dining evening. We really loved the food in the Crown Grill. Elizabeth is still raving about the steak! Nice touch. I’m ready to go again!
