Dear Travelers,

While COVID-19 is creating physical, emotional, and financial havoc across the globe, I want to assure you that Covington Travel remains open for business and is here to help, albeit from home. All systems are fully operational for our Business Travel, Meetings & Events, and Vacation divisions.

Our advisors have worked diligently to get international travelers home, explain ever-changing airline cancellation restrictions, and provide necessary decision-making information to anxious travelers. Our work now consists of cancellations, refunds, rebooking postponed trips and staying in touch with our clients to make sure they are safe wherever they may be – and sometimes just to listen.

Somewhat surprisingly, we are receiving requests to set up new corporate accounts that will need our services for business travel in the coming months. We are also getting requests for vacation travel weeks or months into the future, and planning or rescheduling meetings for the end of 2020 and well into 2021.

The American spirit is alive and well despite the challenges COVID-19 presents us all. We are confident that travel will return in full after this ordeal passes. Business travel will resume, families will go on vacation, and off-site corporate meetings will happen. We’re all looking forward to that happy day when the world is moving again.
