Cancun: A Hot Spot for Incentive Trips

Recently, I had the opportunity to travel to Cancun and find out what’s new for our clients who are planning incentive trip programs and looking for exceptional deals. I’m pleased to report that my trip to Cancun was flawless. Fabulous white sand beaches, outstanding culinary opportunities, and an incredible array of activities are within easy reach of many resorts.
While there has been considerable media coverage that some areas of Mexico are not safe for tourists, Cancun is definitely a place that welcomes visitors and does not take the issue of security lightly. Still, I wanted to experience for myself what safety measures are in place and am pleased to report that my time in Cancun was flawless.
I visited the elegant all-inclusive Le Blanc Spa Resort, which sits on five acres of beautifully landscaped oceanfront property. This hotel has a pristine private beach, sumptuous guest rooms, and a spa that is truly a sanctuary away from the rest of the world. I loved the butler service and all five incredible restaurants.
Live Aqua is another example of an all-inclusive resort that has much to offer. The resort provides a Zen-like experience that inspired me with its attention to detail, exquisite guest rooms, designer amenities, impeccable service, and meals prepared by international celebrity chefs. In addition to being beautiful, these hotels have extensive security systems that ensure safety in a discreet and unobtrusive way.
I felt very safe walking through towns, taking tours to Xel Ha, Rio Secreto, and Playa del Carmen as well as on every beach I visited. All along the Yucatan Peninsula, Americans are welcome and treated very well.
