Covington Cares
At Covington, our volunteers provide time and resources to support non-profit organizations to help build a stronger community. Our recent projects include Holiday Fox Socks, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, ChildFund‘s Dream Bikes, Feedmore Peanut Butter Challenge, and Go Red Day.
Proud Supporter of the Arts
As a proud supporter of the arts, Josée Covington, President and CEO of Covington Travel, has a special affinity for education and the arts. Her favorites include Richmond Symphony, Rotary Club International, the Haiti Project, Virginia Repertory Theatre, and VPM.
Proud Supporter of the Haiti Project
Covington is proud to support the Haiti Project through our partnership with BCD and the BCD Travel Foundation. The Haiti Project’s mission is to offer high-quality education for children living in extreme poverty in Mirebalais, Haiti through L’Ecole de Choix (School of Choice).
With an education, Haitians can support themselves and their families, educate their own children, and end the cycle of poverty. The school is active, with 180 children enrolled in grades 1-6.
This Haiti Project will give underprivileged children the opportunity to make an extraordinary impact on the social fabric, the economy, the non-profit environment, the business sector, and virtually every aspect of the Haitian community. Learn more by watching this inspiring video!
Proud Sponsor of Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Today over 26,000 individuals in the Richmond chapter have Alzheimer’s. Covington’s support allows the chapter to offer referral services, care consultation, support groups, education, and safety programs.
