Avis Car Rental has recently released new mobile app features that completely transform the car rental experience. Travelers can now control every aspect of the rental process right from their phone or tablet by using the Avis Now mobile app.

How many times have you gotten to the rental car lot, only to find that the car assigned to you is not what you want? With the Avis Now app, simply swipe and choose another car in real time. Have you ever spent valuable time at the rental counter or on the phone with customer service to extend your rental? Now there’s an app for that with no waiting. Need to check your rental agreement details, but your paperwork is in the glove compartment in the valet parking garage? No more uncertainty or inconvenience.

The Avis Now app is available for iOS and Android devices and is compatible with all vehicles across the Avis fleet. To use the app, travelers must enroll in the free Avis express rental/loyalty program called Avis Preferred, which allows users to skip the counter and the paperwork in many locations. From the app, travelers have complete flexibility and control over their rental at their fingertips.

Avis Now is currently available at more than 50 locations in the United States and will be rolling out to select international rental sites in the near future.
