Cindi Brewer, Vacation Advisor in Covington’s downtown Richmond location, recently received a wonderful recap of an anniversary celebration trip to Las Vegas from clients. Their letter and photos gave such a great description of so many exciting things to do in Las Vegas, we wanted to share it with Travel Maestro readers. Warning: If you’re considering a Las Vegas getaway, their experiences will have you booking your trip right away!Ā
Just wanted to say thank you again for the absolutely wonderful vacation planning you prepared for my wife and me on our 25th anniversary. This was a first-time trip to Las Vegas for my wife and she and I both could not have had a better experience. Great Job!
WOW, where do I beginā¦..
While there are several 5-star hotels on the main Las Vegas strip, we choose one of the best: The Bellagio. The check-in process was quite special with the Limo pick-up service from the airport to hotel front door.
The main lobby is awe-inspiring and no one can resist taking in the glass flower ceiling.
The hotel suite accommodations were top notch and overlooked the Fountain, which in itself is amazing. The Bride of 25 years was quite surprised.
The view from the 29th floor was spectacular overlooking the fountain and allowing a great panoramic view of the strip and skyline.
Our first day started with a fantastic tour of the Hoover Dam. We could not have been more pleased with your recommendation to go with āPick Jeep Tours.ā It was non-stop courteous service from pick-up to drop-off, door-to-door. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the Las Vegas area and local sites, as well as the Dam itself. We wanted a good tour but this was unbelievably awesome; we toured top, bottom, front, back, inside and from the water. Nothing was left unseen. We highly recommend them for others.
Day Two we explored the strip; I canāt even cover all we experienced. Just have to say, if you havenāt been to Las Vegas, itās a must see. We did catch the Celine Dion Concert that night and the seating was phenomenal, six rows back, front stage view. This was especially special since this was her first show since the loss of her husband and she did a fantastic performance.
On to Day Three, with another awe-inspiring trip to the Grand Canyon. This was with Maverick Tours and again, non-stop service, door-to-door. We were picked up at the hotel, driven to the airport for a very pleasant personalized flight to the Grand Canyon Airport where we had a breathtaking helicopter ride into the canyon. No other way to see the canyons except by Helo. WOW!!!
On Day Four, the activities remained endless with opportunities. We headed down to āOld Vegasā to witness the Fremont Experience. I canāt even explain this one but itās a must-see. We even enjoyed the three-blocks long zip line under the laser light show and over the crowds below. What a rush!
Needless to say, every night offered amazing shows and free events to catch on the strip, like the Bellagio Fountain show every 15 minutes and the spectacular Volcanic Eruption at the Mirage. Itās just crazy all the things you can see!
Again, we canāt even come close to covering all the things we saw and enjoyed so thoroughly. This was a fantastic trip that was truly a once in a lifetime event to remember.
Two Thumbs up for Covington Travel and Cindi Brewer.
Thank you!
