I just love fireworks – always have. I’m one of those who oohs and aahs and claps and cheers throughout the program. I love gathering with friends and family for summertime fun, whether it’s at the beach, an outdoor concert or a competitive game of horseshoes. I love cookouts – especially the hot dogs cooked to a crispy golden on the grill. While I love to travel and visit other countries, I also love calling America home. Naturally, the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays because it brings together all these favorites in one day of patriotic pride.

This year I’ll be I’ll be attending the Grand Départ of the Tour de France on the 4th of July (stay tuned… I’ll be reporting on that soon), so I’ll miss out on the all-American extravaganza, but I gathered a couple videos that represent the holiday to me.
