Crystal Cruises has consistently been recognized as “World’s Best” for an unprecedented 20 years. That’s an accolade that no other cruise line, hotel or resort can claim. To stay at the top, Crystal constantly improves the guest experience. This fall, four new initiatives are being rolled out to further enhance the Crystal hallmarks of extraordinary service, abundant space, exceptional quality and incredible choices.
PURE® Allergy Friendly Rooms
Beginning in September, allergy sufferers and those with mild respiratory issues such as asthma can breathe easier in the cruise industry’s first ever ultra-luxe hypoallergenic staterooms. Crystal Symphony has a whole new category of luxury accommodations called Deluxe PURE® Staterooms at Sea which are completely hypoallergenic indoor environments. The staterooms are cleansed of 99.9% of impurities, including surfaces and the surrounding air, in a 7-step, 2-phase process. Daily maintenance routines are handled by Crystal housekeeping staff and every six months, PURE specialists re-service the room to ensure the highest hygiene levels. Travel Maestro tip: This haven of fresh air is available at no additional cost!
Crystal Society Complimentary Wi-Fi
Beginning with the September 19, 2014 voyage of Crystal Serenity and the October 15, 2014 voyage of Crystal Symphony, Crystal Society members will receive 60 minutes of free internet access per person, per day. If you prefer to stay connected while cruising, this is a significant value since the pay-as-you-go rate is $.074 per minute ($44.40/hour) and the lowest priced package is two hours for $50. At the rate of $25 per hour, a couple who are Crystal Society members could save $350 in internet access charges over a week. Travel Maestro tip: Guests automatically become Crystal Society members on their second cruise and all Crystal cruises thereafter. There is no membership fee!
Crystal Symphony New Outdoor Fitness Garden
During a 19-day, $20 million-plus dry dock commencing September 9, 2014, decks 7, 8 and 12 aft on Crystal Symphony will receive a multi-level, outdoor “garden” of fitness. High-tech, stainless steel equipment will be available for guests to enjoy a “Movement Journey” – a 25-minute, self-guided circuit training routine featured only on Crystal. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level exercise programs include warm up and cool down phases. Popular walking programs will remain available on the 360° Promenade Deck.
Crystal Cruises Northwest Passage Voyage
As announced in July, Crystal will be the first luxury cruise line to ever navigate the legendary Northwest Passage from Seward, Alaska to New York in August 2016. This unique and remote itinerary through unspoiled waterways will lend itself to unique local community experiences and wilderness adventures. More than a dozen exploration experts will provide onboard enrichment and shore side guidance as the ship transits the Top of the World. Being the first voyage of its kind, this is truly a bucket list trip for those who have “done everything” already – and so sought-after that it literally sold out within three days of the soft announcement to Crystal Society members only. Travel Maestro tip: Even though confirmed space is completely booked on this single sailing, you can join a wait list for $250 per person. We have to warn you not to hold your breath for getting confirmed, but if you’re wait listed, we’ll make sure you’re among the first to know about subsequent Crystal special sailings and offers.
With these new amenities, Crystal Cruises shows their commitment to excellence. From thoughtful touches and exceptional service to unmitigated quality and authentic experiences, Crystal Cruises creates experiences that guests repeatedly deem “World’s Best.” To learn more about Crystal, contact the cruise experts at Covington Travel.
