    The Elf on the Shelf Brings Holiday Cheer to Covington

    Much to our surprise, the Elf on the Shelf mysteriously appeared in Café Josée at the Innsbrook office and left us a wonderful holiday display, yummy goodies and a cheerful message!

    “I’m here to bring some Christmas cheer! We have much to be thankful for this year, so enjoy a treat and a laugh. I will try to contain my shenanigans to the kitchen area, but don’t surprised if I show up somewhere else in the office!”

    Tradition holds that Santa’s “scout elves” hide during the day and watch to see who’s naughty and who’s nice, then report back to Santa. From all appearances, our mischievous little Mr. Elf enjoys his nightly shenanigans at Covington Travel!

    Please return to this page or visit our Covington Facebook page daily to see what Mr. Elf does next. Perhaps he will be found hanging around our beautiful trees or maybe sneaking a snack in the refrigerator. We’ll just have to wait and find out!!

    Here’s what Mr. Elf has been up to each night in our Headquarters Office:

    Day 1: Prayers for Paris . Mr. Elf spent the evening playing music and sending good vibes to our friends in Paris.

    Day 2: Camping Trip. Mr. Elf and his fairy friend set up camp and toasted marshmallows after building snowmen and sledding.

    Day 3: Boy’s Night Out. Looks like a party broke out.

    Day 3 – Boy’s Night Out. Mr. Elf and some of the Misfit Toys got a little wild last night!

    Day 4 – Covington Elf Games. The whole gang is competing in sack races, arts & crafts and tug of war. Mr. Elf took gold in the sled jump!

    Day 5 – Elf PCI Training. After a week of fun and games, Mr Elf and his friends are buckling down with Security Awareness Training.

    Day 6 – After the exhaustive PCI Training,  Mr Elf has “Been Chillin!”

    Day 7 – Mr Elf is “Just Hanging Out Today” with  sales team and corporate agents!

    Day 8 – Our adorable little Elf has been kidnapped by the James Center and being held in exchange for a Pizza Lunch!

    Day 8 – Mr. Elf and his new Buddies are anxiously waiting for the Pizza!

    Day 9 – After a traumatic day yesterday, Mr. Elf has booked a vacation with Covington and plans to stay at the Fairmont Orchid Hawaii!!!!

    Day 10 – Mr. Snowman was naughty and booked his holiday getaway through Expedia. Mr. Elf took matters into his own hands to teach him a lesson! While we don’t condone the melting of snowmen, we do promise you a better travel planning experience with a real live attentive, professional travel advisor!

    Day 11 – Elf on the Shelf is having a great time today – making copies of himself and creating Snowflakes. With the warm December temperatures, Mr. Elf must be Dreaming of a White Christmas!

    Day 12 – Mr Elf & his Red-nosed Reindeer have loaded his sleigh with gifts & toys for all the good girls and boys!!

    Day 13 – After making eyes at Barbie all day yesterday, the Elf finally summoned the courage to make his move!

    Day 14 – Mr Elf poses this age-old question “Orange you Glad…” Select a slip from the jar or write your own to add to the fun!

    Day 15 – Hey Starbucks, I fixed your cup. You’re welcome. Mr. Elf

    Day 16 – Mr. Elf went to Jared! He popped the question to his lovely date just before a black-tie Christmas party – formal wear courtesy of the Charlottesville Covington elves.

    With his elfworks completed, Mr. Elf and his lovely Barbie bride are taking off for their honeymoon.

    The merry band of misfit toys are headed back to Santa’s workshop to pack the sleigh for the big event tonight!

    The Covington staff greatly enjoyed Mr. Elf’s antics this December and are looking forward to his return next year. Meanwhile, we’ll all try to live up to his challenge to “Be good and be kind to each other.”
